Who We Are
MDX Contracting is a residential general contractor based in Sacramento. We build kitchen and bathroom renovations, home additions, ADUs and garage conversions, whole-home remodels, and exterior improvements for homeowners across the region.
We are not a handyman service and we do not chase commercial work. Residential remodeling is what we do, and it shapes how we plan schedules, protect finished spaces, and work around a household that is still living in the house.
Our Approach
Plan Carefully, Then Build Carefully
Planning
We walk the space, talk through what is and isn't working, and define scope, selections, and sequence before the first wall opens up. Decisions made early cost less than decisions made mid-build.
Craftsmanship
Framing, waterproofing, and mechanical work get the same attention as the tile and trim, because the parts nobody sees decide how the finished work holds up.
Communication
You get a clear picture of what is happening this week, what is coming next, and a direct line when something needs a decision.
Working Respectfully in a Lived-In Home
Most of our projects happen while the family is still living there. Floors get covered, dust barriers go up, and work areas get cleaned at the end of the day. Access, parking, and noisy work get planned around the household rather than the other way around.

We work in Sacramento and the surrounding communities: Elk Grove, Folsom, Roseville, Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Rancho Cordova.
